Video: Dai Yoshihara Visits Pikes Peak Ahead of the Big Race
After hours of practice on the Assetto Corsa racing simulator, Dai Yoshihara – ENEOS-sponsored driver and 2011 Formula Drift Champion – is now in the final stages of preparation for the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
To help familiarize himself with the mountain course, Dai visit the actual road to test-drive the route. His aim was to finally connect the dots between his mind, hands, eyes, feet with what he experienced throughout the video game.
“I’ve driven the simulator so many times. In my head, I already know the track,” he said. “Coming here, seeing the actual road, now I’m able to piece it together.”
