Trotter Scores Career Best Third Place at Irwindale NASCAR Race
ENEOS-sponsored Bill McAnally Racing driver Gracie Trotter continued her rise through the ARCA Menards Series West, piloting the #99 ENEOS Toyota Camry to a career-best third place finish during the ENEOS 125 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Irwindale Speedway in California on July 4, 2020.
Qualifying sixth in her debut race at this Los Angeles venue, Trotter used a late restart to move into third position, earning her series-best performance from four career starts. This finish takes her to third in the championship and second in the rookie standings.
“This was a great weekend at Irwindale coming home with a third place finish,” said Trotter. “We struggled during practice, fought a lot of tightness in the car, but drove decently in the race. We made it work and I was able to climb through the field!”
Trotter currently sits in third place in the ARCA Menards Series West with 155 points. Her next race takes place on July 18, 2020 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
