Two 3rd place finishes in Atlantic City have caused Steve Arpin to move in season points ranking from 3rd to 2nd.
- Arpin raced in the rain on Saturday and won both heat races, but was spun out after contact on the first corner of the Semi-Final, giving him a 3rd row starting spot for the main event
- The No. 00 Fiesta raced through the field to an exciting last corner pass to get on the podium with 3rd place in Round 8
- For Round 9 the following day, the sun was out, track conditions reversed, and the car was very fast again
- After contact in heat 2, it took a couple races to get the car back to where it needed to be, ending up with a 3rd row starting spot
- The No. 00 was once again running very fast, and it was a hard fight to chase down Scott Speed to race for the win, but the team just wasn’t able to complete the pass and finished with another 3rd place
