Dai Yoshihara Kicks Off “Ride With Dai” Season 2 at 2023 Subiefest Wicked Big Meet

ENEOS ambassador Dai Yoshihara certainly has his hands full this summer competing in the TC America series and prepping for the upcoming Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with Evasive Motorsports. But in between all of that, he kicked off another season of Ride With Dai along with our friends at Pit+Paddock.

Starting first at Turn 14 Distribution’s headquarters, the drift Subaru BRZ and DAI33 were both put on display in the company’s lobby, a welcome home event to celebrate a year since the genesis of Ride With Dai and delivery of the R33 GT-R that’s become a monster project.

The following morning, both cars were transported up to Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut, taking part of the festivities at Wicked Big Meet, the East Coast stop of Subiefest. Positioned front and center at the ENEOS booth, the BRZ was primed for ride-along contest winners during the drift demo while DAI33 was a special JDM treat in a sea of Subarus.

ENEOS representatives held a seminar at the Learning Center, breaking down the performance and protection benefits of our high-performance synthetic oils, designed with the help of Japanese OEMs like Subaru.

But the drift demo was one of the highlights of Wicked Big Meet: several lucky winners and ENEOS customers were strapped into the BRZ, and Dai treated them to a few minutes of precision sliding, tire smoke and hanging on for the ride of a lifetime. Even extreme sports athlete Bucky Lasek joined in on the fun by joining Dai on a tandem exercise to close out the demo.
