Faruk Kugay Showcases STI-Powered Porsche GT3 to Subiefest 2023

There’s no cooling off for Faruk Kugay this summer — fresh from Formula DRIFT PROSPEC competition in St. Louis, he transported his Subaru-swapped Porsche GT3 to Southern California to display in the ENEOS booth at Subiefest.

Back at its more familiar venue in Santa Anita Park, Subaru enthusiasts had a chance to see the GT3 completed after its debut at last year’s Subiefest, continuing to break necks and stir up controversy.

“People are always talking about the ENEOS GT3, but what they often overlook is that I’ve retained the lower center of gravity with the EJ25, just like a Porsche motor,” Faruk explains. “V8s and other motors throw off the center of gravity and handling, but the goal is to make this a track weapon that also happens to look good. And I think it looks great here at Subiefest with ENEOS!”

While the ENEOS GT3 will always be bonkers, Faruk is already cooking up his next project for the upcoming SEMA Show, so get ready for something tasty!
