Dai Yoshihara and ENEOS at Subiefest SoCal 2021

Widely considered one of, if not the, greatest Subaru-centric event in the world, Subiefest returned to Southern California for the CA All-Subaru Shootout and Showoff, and ENEOS joined the festivities, along with special guest: ENEOS ambassador and Formula DRIFT champ, Dai Yoshihara. We knew it would be a big show, but weren’t prepared for what we saw!

Originally planned for the Santa Anita Race Park in Arcadia, Subiefest had to quickly relocate to Perris Fairgrounds, about 1.5hr outside the greater Los Angeles region. The new venue accommodated a large number of show cars and increased footprint for the vendor area, as well as providing an oval track for rallycross demos (something Santa Anita didn’t offer).

Competing with a Subaru BRZ in the FD PRO class, it made perfect sense to have Dai as our booth guest to help promote ENEOS high-performance lubricants as well as meet his fans ahead of his final Formula DRIFT event at the Irwindale finals.

Subiefest delivered massive crowds from beginning to end, and Dai happily signed autographs and met his fans for a full hour!
