Trotter Finishes Strong in Third in 2020 ARCA West Series
Gracie Trotter, one of the ENEOS-sponsored drivers at the 2020 Bill McAnally Racing team, finished her rookie season Third overall in the ARCA Menards Series West. Driving the #99 ENEOS Toyota Camry, she equals the highest championship finish by a female driver.
At the series finale held at Phoenix Raceway on November 7, 2020, Trotter finished ninth and was one of only 12 lead-lap finishers of the 27 starters at the Casino Arizona 100 on the one-mile oval.
“I had a season I’ll never forget! With all its ups and downs, I gained experience, and above all, had so much fun,” Trotter says. “I exceeded my expectations for sure, I was going in with a mindset of learning all I could.
We ended up fourth in our first race in Las Vegas, and after that I knew we would win a race this year, which is what happened when we came back to Las Vegas! I’m very thankful to Bill McAnally, Toyota Racing Development and ENEOS for taking a chance and giving me the opportunity to live out my dreams!”
Trotter finished her rookie season only six points from second place in the championship standings. From 11 starts she accumulated one win, seven top fives and 11 top tens, not to mention being the second highest rookie on the circuit. Her BMR teammate, Jesse Love, earned the ARCA Menards Series West championship, which is the tenth for BMR.
