Countdown to SEMA: Taking a Look Back at Previous ENEOS Feature Vehicles Part 2

The countdown continues as ENEOS prepares for the 2019 SEMA Show. Last week we took a closer look at Tanner Foust’s RWB-built VW Beetle R from the 2014 show. And this time it’s the AutoFashion Nissan 240SX receiving the spotlight.

2015 was the year of Rocket Bunny, especially for those with the S14 chassis Nissan 240SX. Inspired by Americana automotive styling, Kei Miura designed the “Boss” V2 aero kit for the S14. Not only does it add traditional bolt-on wide fender flares, but also Dodge headlights and front-end components to give the styling a retro feel – a nod to the bosozoku, if you will.

For Freddie Fernandez at AutoFashion USA, he knew this was the look he needed in order to shock the masses. But AutoFashion didn’t stop with the Rocket Bunny conversion; they reskinned the entire car with custom ENEOS graphics to appear in the Japanese oil company’s SEMA booth.

On top of that, they made sure to equip the car with plenty of American horsepower to match the new looks. “I installed a 2011 Chevy LS3 6.2L V8 motor with a supercharger and six-speed GM transmission,” he said. “We gave this modern Japanese car a retro look and lots of performance!” Needless to say, it was one of the hottest cars of the show.
