Show and Go: Compete in the 2019 Show Car Shootout Presented by ENEOS

Show Cars typically get a bad rep — not enough “go” for all that “show.” Well, together with Super Street, we’re ready to prove the haters wrong with the 2019 Show Car Shootout Presented by ENEOS. It’s a show and racing competition that’ll prove tuner cars can win a show trophy, then turn out a fast lap at Streets of Willow.

Competition is two-fold for the 2019 Show Car Shootout Presented by ENEOS. First, competitors will showcase their vehicles within a special section reserved for ENEOS entrants at the SPOCOM Anaheim event on July 20 where they will be eligible for valuable show points. Second, the group heads to Streets of Willow in Rosamond, CA on July 22 for a time attack event to put all their parts to good use. All vehicle types are welcome, and it doesn’t matter if your car operates with forced induction or is naturally aspirated.

To assist the competitors in this year’s Show Car Shootout, we are delighted to announce the return of ENEOS-sponsored racing drivers, Formula DRIFT champion Dai Yoshihara and ARX rallycross driver Steve Arpin. They will mentor the owners during the time attack portion and points will be scored on how much each driver’s lap times improve. It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice because it will be the first time many of these enthusiasts will drive their vehicle on a race track, so learning how to navigate the racing line with the help of the  professional ENEOS drivers will help immensely. Super Street has made it clear that pro/experienced drivers are not allowed to compete.
