Loenbro Motorsports and ENEOS Motor Oil Relationship Continues into its Fifth Year

Steve Arpin’s relationship with oil giant ENEOS will enter its fifth year in 2019.

The Japanese motor oil and transmission fluid brand was a founding partner of Loenbro Motorsports in 2015 and has supported Arpin through every one of his rallycross event victories. The Loenbro Motorsports team will continue using ENEOS products in its freshly upgraded Fiesta ST race cars as it targets podium finishes and a challenge for the Championship once again.

“My relationship with ENEOS goes beyond business,” said Loenbro Motorsports driver and general manager, Steve Arpin. “We’ve been together since the beginning of this adventure and the partnership has achieved so much, including every one of my rallycross victories. ENEOS is more than just a partner; it’s very much a part of the Loenbro Motorsports family.

“There’s no doubt that using ENEOS products in our cars has given us a performance boost, and with our upgraded Fiesta ST this year we’re looking to repay their faith by taking ENEOS back to the top step of the podium.”

For 2019, the relationship between Arpin and ENEOS will extend outside rallycross for the first time and into grassroots competition. In addition to competing in Americas Rallycross and Nitro Rallycross, Arpin will return to Dirt Modified racing with the Action Engineering team and long-time friend, Dustin Sorensen.

“Dustin is like a little brother to me,” said Arpin. “When I came from Canada his family took me in and looked after me at the start of my racing career, so working with Dustin and his family at the dirt track is like returning home. I’m really excited to return my roots with ENEOS – hitting the dirt track and rally cross courses in 2019 will be immense fun and I’m sure it will help ENEOS reach an even wider audience in the motorsports world.”

In Addition to supporting Arpin and Sorensen’s dirt racing exploits, ENEOS will gain a growing presence in the grassroots scene thanks to Action Engineering. The engine builder and racing team will serve as a retailer for ENEOS products, selling ENEOS Motor Oil  with its engines to customers across the US.
