ENEOS SUPPORTS BILL McANALLY RACING FOR 2019 NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES & GANDER OUTDOORS TRUCK SERIES

ENEOS – a division of JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy – is delighted to announce two additions to its 2019 motorsports roster. These include Brittney Zamora, who is entering her first full season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, and two-year veteran Derek Kraus, who will run in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Both will drive for Bill McAnally Racing (BMR), which is the most successful team in the history of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

Brittney will be at the wheel of #99 ENEOS / NAPA Filters Toyota Camry in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2019. The 19 year-old, second-generation driver from Kennewick, WA is a TRD development driver who won the Washington State NASCAR Rookie of the Year title in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, and captured her second consecutive championship in the Northwest Super Late Model Series. She also earned NASCAR’s 2018 Wendell Scott Trailblazer Award.

With so much experience, everybody at BMR is delighted to have Brittney join the team. “We’re lucky to have the opportunity to add a quality driver of Brittney’s ability to our team for 2019,” said BMR President Bill McAnally.

Brittney is equally looking forward to joining BMR and adding to the team’s championship legacy. “Bill McAnally Racing is an elite team, which has won multiple championships and I’m extremely proud to drive for them,” she said. “It’s a dream opportunity for me. I’m here to win races and compete at the highest level.”

ENEOS will sponsor the Zamora car, splitting races with NAPA Filters. “We’re proud to welcome ENEOS to the BMR family and look forward to displaying the brand on Brittney’s Toyota Camry in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series,” McAnally said.

Meanwhile, Derek Kraus returns for a third season with BMR. He will compete in the K&N Pro Series and also drive #19 ENEOS Toyota Tundra in select NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series events. He led the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2018 with four victories, five poles and led 717 laps but narrowly missed the championship title.

The NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series is a new venture for the 17 year-old from Stratford, WI but the team is confident he will adapt. “Derek quickly developed into a contender in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series,” said McAnally. “It’s been great to be involved with his development and we look forward to continuing that role with him throughout 2019, especially in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.”

Derek is similarly delighted to expand his horizons this year. “Being part of Bill McAnally Racing has been a dream for me and I’m thankful for the opportunity to run in NASCAR national series races this year,” he said.

ENEOS will support Derek as the sponsor for his truck series events. “We welcome ENEOS to our team as we take the next step in Derek’s bright racing career,” McAnally said.

BMR has won a record eight series championships and earned 90 overall victories between the East and West divisions of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series. Zamora will attempt to be the fourth consecutive BMR driver to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rookie title – following Hailie Deegan in 2018, Kraus in 2017, and Todd Gilliland in 2016.

By accepting its sponsorship, Brittney and Derek will join Formula DRIFT champion Daijiro Yoshihara and Americas Rallycross driver Steve Arpin (a former NASCAR star himself) as part of the 2019 ENEOS Motorsports program. The first NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race for Brittney in the #99 ENEOS / NAPA Filters Toyota Camry is at Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, CA on March 30. Derek’s first NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race in the #19 ENEOS Toyota Tundra is one week earlier on March 23 at Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, VA.
