FD: Round 6 – St Louis
Formula DRIFT Round 6 – St. Louis went down August 10 – 11 at the Gateway Motorsports Park, technically in Madison, IL, just across the Mississippi from the famed Gateway City.
Dai started out strong on this tricky course, edging out Italian rookie Federico Sceriffo in his Ferrari during the top 32.
During his top 16 battle, Dai made contact with competitor Justin Pawlak in the first turn of the first run. Although Pawlak may have made a light impact with Dai in the final curve of the second run, the judges gave Pawlak the win.

After the battle in St Louis, Dai moved back to 11th place in season championship rankings. Next round is in Texas in September.
