The NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) held the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at the Texas Motor Speedway on November 5, 2017.
Race highlights:
- Larson made his final NXS start of 2017 and scored his ninth top-five finish of the season
- Larson finished second in both stage 1 and 2 and led his two times for four laps
- The No. 42 team remains fourth in NXS driver’s standings (-8 to 1st place)
- The race was slowed by seven cautions for 33 laps
- There were 10 lead changes among six different drivers

“We had a really fast ENEOS Chevy tonight, but made some mistakes all around that didn’t put us in a great position on restarts. Fortunately we kept working hard in the second half and raced back for a good finish. Our car was really fast at the end, but just didn’t have enough laps or restarts to make it to the front. NXS teams will move to Phoenix Raceway on Saturday, November 11, 2017 for the Ticket Galaxy 200. NBC Sports Network, Sirius XM NASCAR Channel 90 and PRN Radio will have live coverage beginning at 3:30 pm ET.
