Steve Arpin had another two great races at Rounds 3 & 4 in Thompson.
- On Saturday, the first day of a double header weekend for Steve Arpin and the Loenbro Motorsports team in GRC started in the ENEOS car. The team showed speed off the truck winning a heat race and finishing second in the semi-final. In the main event, Arpin started in fifth place and used a well-timed joker to finish fourth, remaining third in the championship points standings.
- After late night repairs to the #00 machine, Arpin started Sunday with a win in the semi-final race allowing the GRC Series winner the opportunity to start on the front row for the main event. Quickly moving to second, Arpin pressured Tanner Foust until he made a mistake on the last lap, allowing the #00 Loenbro team to cruise to victory.
- After both events, the championship points battle continues to heat up with Scott Speed (1st), Tanner Foust (2nd) and Steve Arpin (3rd) separated by only 20 points!

“The car has been so fast all weekend. Tanner has been a little bit quicker, but we knew we could just stay on him and put pressure on him. That’s why I followed him into the Joker – I knew we couldn’t catch him and pass him, but we had to keep the pressure on, and it worked. He just pushed it a little bit too hard.” – Steve Arpin, #00
