2016 LMR TEAM: Driver Shane Stewart and the Larson Marks Racing team return for the 2016 season fully intact with crew chief Scotty Martin and crewmembers Heath Moyle and Andrew Seamans.
FLORIDA KICK-OFF: The runner-up team in 2015 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series point standings will jumpstart the 2016 season with two Arctic Cat All-Star Circuit of Champions events at Volusia Speedway Park on Wednesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 11 before making its first of three World of Outlaws starts at the track on Friday.
ENEOS – ON THE CAR AND IN THE CAR: ENEOS Motor Oil has been a long-standing partner on the LMR 2 team. Their involvement moved from on the car to in the car during the Winter Heat series at Cocopah Speedway last month when ENEOS oil was first used in the team’s engines. 2015 IN THE BOOKS: The Larson Marks Racing team had its most successful season to date in 2015. In its first full year of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition, the team earned nine races, 38 top-five and 57 top-10 finishes. Stewart also won the Capitani Classic and Wednesday Preliminary Night feature events, both at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.
LAST YEAR IN FLORIDA: Stewart and the Larson Marks Racing team earned two top-10 finishes in its three World of Outlaws starts at Volusia Speedway Park last season.
LARSON MARKS RACING OWNERS: Larson Marks Racing is co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Larson and entrepreneur Justin Marks. Marks owns GoPro Motorplex, a paved high-speed go-kart road course in Mooresville, N.C., and is co-owner of HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks, a five-car NASCAR K&N Pro Series East team. Larson will be competing in the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race on Saturday at Daytona International Speedway, just 22 miles from Volusia Speedway Park.
